  54. Actually, I'm talking 150,000 lines of code. . .my 486/33 does a full
  55. linux kernel in 29 minutes. I did a simple line count and an came up
  56. with something like 170,000 lines.  . .so the number is just an 
  57. estimate but a fairly accurate one I'ld guess. . .

  63. I would guess that GCC on linux, especially with something like
  64. kswap installed, would run circles around even a Win95 native
  65. compiler. Linux (probably most un*x's) has a much cleaner and more
  66. efficient task switcher.
